1. The following conditions apply in order to qualify for Offer 1, which comprises HK$1,000 statement credit and other welcome offers (“Welcome Offers”):
  • Welcome Offers are only valid for approved American Express Explorer Credit Card applications that are submitted by new American Express Cardmembers through designated channels, and are received by American Express International, Inc. (“American Express”) between February 23 to April 30, 2023.
  • Cardmembers who are currently holding or applicants who have held or cancelled any approved basic Card product issued by American Express Hong Kong within the past 12 months from the date of this application, are NOT eligible for the welcome offer.  American Express reserves the right to debit the original price of the Welcome Offers from such Cardmember’s account without prior notice.
  • Only valid for Basic Cardmembers who submit their Card application online and all required valid documents within 7 working days from the date of application submission and spend an aggregate of HK$6,000 or above on his or her Basic and / or Supplementary Cards at 1O1O Center / csl shop in the first 3 months of Basic Card approval, HK$1,000 statement credit will be credited to Eligible Card accounts within 12 weeks upon the transaction.
