Select personal csl customers are entitled to one day’s Always-Be-Connected 24-hour Data Pass for free (“Free Pass”). Valid for two months (“Validity Period”), the Free Pass is applicable to major locations in Asia Pacific (Zones A & B). If a customer is using the Greater China Plan or Greater Bay Area Plan, the service will not be applicable to locations covered by Greater China Plan or Greater Bay Area Plan. Any unused Free Pass capacity will be forfeited on expiry of the Validity Period, and prevailing roaming rates will apply thereafter. The Free Pass is subject to Special Terms & Conditions governing the Always-Be-Connected 24-hour Data Pass. For details, please visit http://e.hkcsl.com/datapass-e. Customer is required to apply for the Free Pass 30 days before or after his/her birthday. Customer can take advantage of the offer one time a year. The Free Pass applies to mobile data roaming such as in respect of BlackBerry services, Internet browsing, roaming MMS, WAP and audio/video streaming. The Free Pass does not support VoIP, BitTorrent, peer-to-peer file sharing such as FTP file sharing and webcam applications; or peer casting-type applications such as PPLive and PPStream; VPN Tunnel service, corporate email service, any commercial promotional activities or any means that may be harmful to, or may adversely affect, our network or other customers. Mobile data roaming available via Free Pass offers 500MB per day, after which data transmission speed will be capped at 256kbps. Please note actual speed and usage experience depends on roaming networks concerned. Customers are required to use the Always-Be-Connected 24-hour Data Pass.
A guaranteed favorable birthday trade-in price of HK$500 is offered during a csl customer’s birthday month. Such a customer will get HK$500 on top of the daily offer price shown at any csl store or trade-in counter (HK$500 will be given as a monthly service fee rebate in respect of a handset connection service plan subscription). The trade-in price is benchmarked with major mobile device chainstores (20 or more outlets). This trade-in price is for designated handset/tablet models only. In order to qualify for the offer, a customer is required to show a valid identification document to verify his/her birthday month. Each customer is entitled to the offer one time only during his/her birthday month each year. The above-mentioned offer is applicable only to trade-in handsets in conjunction with purchase of a handset/tablet with or without handset connection service plan subscription at a suggested retail price of more than HK$2,000 (not applicable to Xiaomi or Apple products). The additional HK$500, after handset connection service plan subscription, will be credited to your csl account to appear in the second bill statement following subscription. Ultimate Data Transfer & Device Diagnosis Service
  • In order to qualify for free one-time Ultimate Data Transfer Service (worth HK$800), a customer is required to present this page and a valid identification document to verify his/her birthday month. Each customer is entitled to this offer one time only during his/her birthday month each year.
  • Make an appointment to utilize our WhatsApp information transfer service at a designated csl shop by calling 2888 2393.
  • You should arrive at a designated csl shop 10 to 15 minutes before your appointment. If you are 30 minutes late, or fail to attend an appointment without notice, this free service will become invalid and no rescheduling of appointment will take place.
  • After an appointment is made, you can change/cancel it at least 24 hours in advance by calling 2888 2393. Rescheduling an appointment can be done one time only.
  • This reward involves no limit on data transfer usage.
  • The service is applicable only to designated customers and is currently compatible with major mobile OS platforms and certain handset models. Please contact our shop staff for details.
  • Content-transfer time may vary according to model and depends on volume of content.
  • Data-transfer effectiveness is determined by device model. Not all types of data and/or content can be transferred with the same degree of success. CSL Mobile Limited adopts best practice, but cannot guarantee all data and/or content will be transferred without loss.
  • The customer is responsible for backing up data and/or content on a mobile device before using Ultimate Data Transfer, Device Diagnostics or the Data Erasure Function.
  • CSL Mobile Limited expressly disclaims any liability for loss (including loss of data and content) or damage (including damage to mobile devices) suffered by the customer or any other persons arising directly or indirectly from Ultimate Data Transfer and/or Device Diagnostics and/or Data Erasure Function.
  • CSL Mobile Limited reserves the right, at its own discretion, not to proceed with Ultimate Data Transfer or Device Diagnostics or Data Erasure Function. In the event of dispute, decisions made by CSL Mobile Limited shall be final.
  • The service will transfer data from one phone to another during each appointment.
  • Data erasure has been certified to the Responsible Recycling (R2) standard by SGS Limited.
  • The service is provided by Ecollect Limited.

In such a situation, customers will be notified individually. Deadline for workshop registration is three hours before one starts. Availability is limited on a first-come-first-served basis. Customers agree the company can use photographs and audio of you and/or visual recordings of you in any publicity or material for promotion sourced at such events on csl’s Facebook page or other platforms. In the event of dispute arising from a workshop, decisions made by csl shall be final and binding.

Advance notification of at least 30 days is required when requesting termination of service. However, customer needs to pay an early termination charge if he/she terminates the agreement prior to the end of the guaranteed service period. We will also make a charge for the total value of any gifts given.
