2022 (Phase II) Consumption Voucher Scheme 5G Bundle - Terms and Conditions


General

1. The service provides the below Bundle (the “Bundle”) including:
  • csl Handset eCoupons (for 2022 (Phase II) Consumption Voucher Scheme Bundles) (the “csl eCoupon”);
  • Additional 5G Local data per month (the “5G Local Data Pack”) for 15, 24 or 36 months depending on the service you elect (the “5G Local Data Pack Commitment Period”)
  • Complimentary 200 Clubpoints (only for customers who pay the Bundle fee with Tap & Go)
2. By subscribing to the Bundle, you confirm to have read, understood and accepted
(i) theses terms and conditions,
(ii) Special Conditions on csl eCoupon (for 2022 (Phase II) Consumption Voucher Scheme Bundles),
(iii) Special Conditions on 5G Local Data Pack, and
(iv) Special Conditions on Complimentary Clubpoints for Tap & Go customers
3. The Bundle is available to selected existing csl postpaid customers on a by-invitation only basis. Eligible customers must
(i) subscribe to the Bundle on or before designated date,
(ii) elect to pay the Bundle fee with one of the designated stored value facilities appointed by the Government to deliver the New Round of Consumption Vouchers (the “Designated SVF”),
(iii) elect to receive SMS bill; and
(iv) be eligible for 2022 (Phase II) Consumption Voucher Scheme.
4. The Bundle fee is HK$5,000.
5. To obtain the csl eCoupon, you must download csl Mobile app. eCoupon will be saved in your coupon wallet under csl app.


Payment of fees and charges

6. (a) You may settle the Bundle fee with one of the Designated SVF (i.e. Tap & Go , AlipayHK, WeChat Pay HK, PayMe, BoC Pay or Octopus). The Bundle fee will appear in your next monthly bill. You are required to pay the Bundle fee on or before the payment due date of your monthly bill. You must pay the Bundle fee in according to the following schedules:
i. if you have elected to pay the Bundle fee using Tap & Go （Stored Value Facilities License Number：SVF0002）, AlipayHK （Stored Value Facilities License Number：SVF0004）, WeChat Pay HK （Stored Value Facilities License Number：SVF0005）, PayMe （Stored Value Facilities License Number：SVFB002）or BoC Pay (Stored Value Facilities License Number：SVFB072）to pay the Bundle fee, you must pay the Bundle fee according to the following schedules:

ii. if you have elected to pay the Bundle fee using Octopus （Stored Value Facilities License Number：SVF0001）you pay the Bundle fee according to the following schedules:

  (b) If the Bundle fee is not received within the timeline set out in sub-paragraph 6(a) above, the unpaid amount will be deducted under your designated autopay instructions designed in the Mobile Service Agreement (if any) or you must pay all unpaid amount using other payment methods acceptable to us in accordance with the Mobile Service Agreement.
  (c) The Bundle fee payment and bill schedule may be changed by us from time to time in light of any changes to the terms and conditions of the Scheme;
  (d) For avoidance of doubt, the above payment timelines are applicable regardless of whether and when you are eligible to claim or receive, or have received any disbursements under the Scheme by the Earliest Disbursement Date or at all.
7. If there are any Other Fees and Charges in the bill, you must pay the same using other payment methods acceptable to us in accordance with the Mobile Service Agreement.
8. Any overpaid amount will be carried forward to your next bill unless otherwise indicated by us.
9. If the 5G Local Data Pack is terminated before expiry of the 5G Local Data Pack Commitment Period for any reason, you will be required to pay the Bundle fee of HK$5,000. At the same time, the bundle fee will not be refunded or refunded in any form. We will not be held responsible for the termination of the 5G Local Data Pack.
10. Save for the Bundle fee, the bills for all other fees and charges such as fees for value-added services, IDD charges, direct carrier bills and thereafter usage (the “Other Fees and Charges”) will be issued to you on a monthly basis.


Complimentary Clubpoints for Tap & Go customers

11. Customers who pay the Bundle fee with Tap & Go can get 200 complimentary Clubpoints (the “Complimentary Clubpoints”). Please note you must be the member of The Club and the membership is still valid in order to get the Complimentary Clubpoints. The Complimentary Clubpoints are subject to Terms & Conditions as dictated by Club HKT Limited. For details or registration, please go to www.theclub.com.hk.


Others

12. Unless otherwise specified, the offers and privileges under the Bundle cannot be used in conjunction with any other discount, offer or promotion and is non-transferable nor exchangeable for cash or other products/services.
13. We reserve the right to terminate or change the Bundle and/or these Terms and Conditions (including, but not limited, to the billing schedule) at any time without prior notice in the event of any dispute. We reserve the right to make the final decision in the event of any dispute.
14. For avoidance of doubt, you are liable to pay the Bundle fee in its entirety and in accordance with the timelines set out above regardless
(i) when you will receive the disbursements under the Scheme and
(ii) whether you are eligible for the any disbursements under the Scheme at all.

16. If there is any inconsistency between the Chinese and English versions of these terms and conditions, the English version shall prevail.


eCoupon (for 2022 (Phase II) Consumption Voucher Scheme Bundles) Terms & Conditions:

1. This eCoupon is valid for one year from the issue date.
2. This eCoupon can be used only at designated csl shops (except K11 MUSEA, Maritime Square, East Point City and MOSTown) and designated csl points of sale at HKT shops. It cannot be used towards transactions completed online or via hotlines.
3. This eCoupon can be used only towards purchase of designated mobile gadget at their suggested retail price and non-discounted price (Not applicable to designated Apple products).
4. This eCoupon can be redeemed one time only, and must be redeemed for its full-face value. No change will be given if the full value of this eCoupon has not been redeemed.
5. This eCoupon cannot be used in conjunction with any other offers, discounts, promotions, e-Gift vouchers, gift vouchers or credit card interest-free installment plan.
6. This eCoupon cannot be transferred or exchanged for cash or other products. It cannot be used to settle monthly mobile plan payment or any early termination charge.
7. No refund or exchange for any purchases using this eCoupon.
8. This eCoupon will not be re-issued if it is lost, stolen or expired.
9. Incomplete, damaged or printed eCoupons will not be accepted.
10. In the event of inconsistencies between the Chinese and English version, the English version shall prevail.
11. CSL Mobile Limited (“CSL”) may vary these Terms and Conditions from time to time and it reserves the right of final determination in the case of dispute.


Special Terms and Conditions for 5G Local Data Pack
1. To be eligible for this 5G Local Data Pack, you must be an existing customer of designated csl 4G postpaid plans (the “Existing 4G Plan”) or designated csl 5G postpaid plans (the “Existing 5G Plan”).
2. By purchasing the 5G Local Data Pack, you can upgrade your basic local data entitlement in your Existing 4G Plan to 5G network (if you are Existing 4G Plan customers), and enjoy 30GB 5G local data per billing month (the “Additional 5G Local Data Entitlement”).
3. The Additional 5G Local Data Entitlement will commence once the Local Data Pack is activated.
4. Any unused data entitlement cannot be carried forward to the next billing month and will be forfeited at the end of each billing month.
5. For Existing 4G Plan customers, only 20GB local data in your basic and top up entitlement supports tethering and peer-to-peer (P2P) functions (such as Bit-Torrent) for each bill month during the subscription period of the 5G Local Data Pack, notwithstanding any contrary provision in the terms and conditions of your Existing 4G Plan.
6. If you have secondary or additional SIM cards, additional 5G Local Data Entitlement cannot be shared among your primary and secondary or additional SIM cards.
7. 5G service is available only at designated locations when using a compatible device. Actual speeds experienced will be considerably less than the network specifications and will be affected by Internet conditions, server speeds, network conditions, coverage, location, device used, hardware, software, usage levels and other factors. 3G and/or 4G mobile services will be provided outside our 5G coverage.
8. This 5G Local Data Pack cannot be used in conjunction with certain types of services which may be subject to change from time to time.
9. In order to enjoy the 5G Local Data Pack, you must continue to use designated Existing 4G Plan or Existing 5G Plan within the designated commitment period. Once your Existing 4G Plan or Existing 5G Plan is terminated for whatever reason, the 5G Local Data Pack will be terminated automatically. No refund is applicable in case of early termination of the 5G Local Data Pack resulting from termination of your Existing 4G Plan or Existing 5G Plan.
10. Upon expiry of the 5G Local Data Pack Commitment Period, we will continue to provide you with 5G Local Data Pack Service in accordance with these Special Terms and Conditions for 5G Local Data Pack Service at HK$58 per month or the then prevailing monthly fee to be decided by us at our discretion on a monthly basis until you terminate this 5G Data Pack Service by giving at least 30 day notice [by calling our hotline on 25123123] . Unless otherwise specified, any existing benefit, offer, rebate, coupon or eCoupon offered to you during the Commitment Period (if any) will cease to apply upon the expiry of the 5G Local Data Pack Commitment Period.
11. CSL reserves the right to amend and/or cancel the 5G Local Data Pack and/or amend these Special Terms and Conditions without prior notice. In the event of dispute, CSL reserves the right of final determination.
12. This 5G Local Data Pack is subject to your Mobile Service Agreement with CSL and these Special Terms and Conditions.
