HKT x UnionPay Standalone Designated Devices and Service Plan Subscription / Renewal Offer Terms and Conditions

1. Unless otherwise specified and subject to the Promotion Quota (as defined below), the promotion period of this HKT x UnionPay Standalone Designated Devices and Service Plan Subscription / Renewal Offer (this “Offer”, comprising Offer 1, Offer 2 and Offer 3 (as referred to below) is, subject to Clause 8 of these General Terms and Conditions, from 17 January 2025 till 31 March 2025, both dates inclusive ("Promotion Period").  All Eligible Transactions (as defined below) (based on the transaction date) must be conducted during the Promotion Period.
2. Unless otherwise specified, this Offer applies to cardholders (each a "Cardholder") of UnionPay Credit and ATM Cards with UnionPay logo, UnionPay Mobile QuickPass (including but not limited to Apple Pay and Huawei Pay) and QR code), except the RMB cards issued by specific Hong Kong and Macau card issuing institutions with UnionPay International Company Limited (“UnionPay”) (each an “Eligible Card”).  To enjoy Offer 3, cardholder is required to present physical Credit Card. WeChat Pay, Alipay and Alipay HK are not eligible for this Offer. CSL Mobile Limited (“CSL”) (for Offer 1, Offer 2 and Offer 3) / Now TV Limited (for Offer 2) / Hong Kong Telecommunications (HKT) Limited (“HKT Opco”) (for Offer 2) (each a "Merchant") may reject an Eligible Card if its payment system does not cater for the Eligible Card type.  Please contact HKT staff for details.
3. csl and 1O1O services are provided by CSL; Now TV services are provided by Now TV Limited; NETVIGATOR and HKT Home Phone services are provided by HKT Opco.  Offer 1 and Offer 3 are offered by CSL and Offer 2 is offered by each of CSL (for csl & 1O1O mobile services), HKT Opco (for NETVIGATOR broadband and HKT Home Phone services) and Now TV Limited (for Now TV services) (the aforesaid services each and collectively as “Designated Services”), each Offer is only applicable to designated sales channels (such as retail shops, hotline and/or direct sales) by the relevant Merchant, excluding online sales channel (such as csl eShop) (each a “Designated Sales Channel”).
4. Unless otherwise specified, Cardholders are required to make a Single Net Transaction (as defined below) with the original Eligible Card sales slip and the original Merchant’s sales receipt (based on the transaction date) ("Eligible Transaction”) on standalone designated device or its relevant accessories (such as mobile handsets, tablets, notebooks and TVs) (each a “Designated Device”) and/or for subscription to Designated Services plan and/or with autopay service setup with the Eligible Card as applicable during the Promotion Period (each a “Designated Plan”) to enjoy this Offer.  Eligible Transaction excludes (a) instalments using the Eligible Card for CSL’s iPhone for Life plan; and (b) split transactions.
5. A “Single Net Transaction” refers to a purchase or subscription made with the Eligible Card in a single transaction during the Promotion Period (based on the transaction date) via a Designated Sales Channel for which the original Eligible Card sales slip and the original Merchant’s sales receipt can be produced.  This Offer applies to the final amount of the Single Net Transaction after deduction of all applicable discounts, reductions and value of cash vouchers.  Other transactions, including but not limited to purchase of cash vouchers, or prepaid service or products unposted / cancelled / refunded / falsified / unauthorised transactions are excluded.
6. During the Promotion Period, each Cardholder can enjoy (i) each of Offer 1 and Offer 3 once at CSL, and (ii) Offer 2 once at each of the Merchants.  If a Cardholder redeems this Offer beyond the aforesaid limit during the Promotion Period, UnionPay reserves the right to debit from the Cardholder's Eligible Card account the equivalent amount of this Offer on or before 30 June 2025 without prior notice. Offer 1, 2 and 3 cannot be used in conjunction in same transaction.
7. If a Cardholder fails to settle all relevant autopay payments with the Eligible Card or terminates the contract for the Designated Plan / the autopay setup for the Designated Plan during the relevant commitment period in Offer 2 or Offer 3, the instant discount or cash voucher under Offer 2 or the rebate under Offer 3 or the free subscription to Now TV Chinese Entertainment Pack (without a Set-Top Box) under Offer 3 will be forfeited.  
8. This Offer is subject to a quota of 3,000 uses in total, being 1,000 quotas for each Merchant – 1,000 quotas for CSL; 1,000 quotas for Now TV Limited; 1,000 quotas for HKT Opco (“Promotion Quota”).  Each use of Offer 1, Offer 2 or Offer 3 by a Cardholder is counted as one use for the calculation of the Promotion Quota.  This Offer and the use of the Promotion Quota are on a first come, first served basis (as determined by any Merchant in its absolute discretion).  The Offer is also subject to the availability of the Designated Devices’ models or the Designated Plans which are subject to change and may be updated by the relevant Merchant(s) from time to time without prior notice.  Please enquire with the relevant Merchant for details.  The Promotion Period will end on the earlier of the last day of that period or the date on which use of the Promotion Quota has been used up by each Merchant 1,000 times, whichever is the earlier.  None of the Merchants will update the status of the Promotion Quota nor its continued availability.
9. No registration is required for this Offer.
10. This Offer is governed by these HKT x UnionPay Standalone Designated Devices and Service Plan Subscription / Renewal Offer Terms and Conditions and other terms and conditions stipulated by the Merchants.  Please enquire with the relevant Merchant for details.
11. In case of any fraud, abuse, reversal or cancellation of transactions in respect of which this Offer was awarded, UnionPay reserves the right to debit from the Cardholder’s Eligible Card account the equivalent amount of this Offer without prior notice.
12. Cardholders’ Eligible Card accounts must be valid and with good credit record during the Promotion Period and the fulfilment period in order to be eligible to receive the rebate under this Offer, otherwise UnionPay reserves the right to forfeit Cardholders’ right under this Offer without prior notice.
13. Cardholders must keep and submit the relevant original Eligible Card sales slip, the original Merchant’s sales receipt and/or other documents in respect of the Eligible Transactions for inspection upon request by UnionPay.  All documents submitted to UnionPay will not be returned.
14. Unless otherwise specified, this Offer cannot be used in conjunction with other special promotions, discounts or promotional coupons, nor be transferred or exchanged for cash or other offers.
15. Availability of this Offer is subject to offer or service availability, account status checking and final acceptance by UnionPay and the relevant Merchant at their absolute discretion.  Any photos, product specifications and prices in relation to this Offer are for reference only.
16. UnionPay shall not be responsible for any matters in relation to any of the Designated Services, nor other products or services offered by any of the Merchants.  The relevant Merchant is solely responsible for all obligations and liabilities relating to such products or services and all auxiliary services offered and/or provided by the Merchant.  Please contact the relevant Merchant for details.
17. Each of the Merchants reserve the right to amend these Terms and Conditions without prior notice.  All matters and disputes are subject to the final decision of the relevant Merchant(s).
18. None of the Merchants is the provider of UnionPay payment.  The Merchants make no representation or guarantee to any UnionPay payment and shall not in any way be liable to any matters in relation thereto.  No compensation shall be forthcoming under any circumstances.
19. Service plans and offers of the Designated Services are subjected to terms and conditions of the relevant Merchant.  For customers of csl / 1O1O mobile services, the General Terms and Conditions of CSL apply (https://www.hkcsl.com/en/service-terms-and-conditions/).  NETVIGATOR broadband services are provided by HKT Opco, and only cover designated areas, subject to relevant terms and conditions; for details, please see NETVIGATOR’s website at www.netvigator.com.  HKT Home Phone services are provided by HKT Opco, and only cover designated areas, subject to relevant terms and conditions; for details, please see HKT Home Phone’s website at https://hkt-homephone.com.  Now TV services are provided by Now TV Limited, and only cover designated areas, subject to relevant terms and conditions; for details, please see Now TV’s website at https://nowtv.hk.
20. In the event of any discrepancy between the English and Chinese versions of these Terms and Conditions, the English version shall prevail.  In the event of dispute in relation to this Offer, the decision of relevant Merchant(s) shall be final.
21. In the event of cancellation, modification, or refund of products by Cardholders, the related promotional offer will not be refunded or reimbursed.  Merchants reserve the right to modify these Terms and Conditions and terminate the offers at any time without prior notice.

• To enjoy the instant discount of the designated amount under this Offer 1, during the Promotion Period, Cardholders are required to make an Eligible Transaction of designated net amount at Designated Sale Channels of csl or 1O1O on standalone Designated Device with Eligible Card at a Designated Sales Channel.  Details are as follows:

• To enjoy the instant discount of the designated amount and a HK$200 csl/1O1O cash voucher under this Offer 2, during the Promotion Period, Cardholders are required to make an Eligible Transaction of designated net amount on standalone Designated Device and Designated Service Plan subscription / renewal with not less than 24-month commitment period at a Designated Sales Channel with Eligible Card at Designated Sale Channels of one of the Merchants.  Voucher Terms and Conditions apply. Any outstanding balance after deducting the face value of e-cash Voucher must be settled by UnionPay Credit and ATM Cards with Union Pay logo, UnionPay Mobile QuickPass (including but not limited to Apple Pay and Huawei Pay) and UnionPay QR Code, except the RMB cards issued by specific Hong Kong and Macau card issuing institutions with UnionPay. • To enjoy designated service fee rebate or Now TV Chinese Entertainment Pack (without a Set-Top Box ) offer under this Offer 3, during the Promotion Period, Cardholders are required to subscribe / renew designated 1O1O / csl 5G service plan with not less than 24-month commitment period (“5G Service Plan”) and set up autopay service with Eligible Card at a Designated Sales Channel of csl or 1O1O.  

• 5G Service Plan service fee rebate will be provided by CSL on 10 bill months of the 5G Service Plan starting from the first bill month of the 5G Service Plan.  The service fee rebate will be provided HK$20 or HK$40 monthly.  The rebate will be forfeited forthwith if the 5G Service Plan is terminated before the rebate amount is credited.
• Now TV Chinese Entertainment Pack (without a Set-Top Box) Offer Terms and Conditions apply.  The monthly subscription fee of the Now TV Chinese Entertainment Pack (without a Set-Top Box) for the first 6 months or 12 months shall be waived.  Starting from the 7^th or 13^th month (as the case may be), the Now TV Chinese Entertainment Pack (without a Set-Top Box) will continue to be provided at a monthly fee HK$38 on a month-to-month basis to the customer until the customer provides CSL with a not less than 30-day prior notice to cancel the subscription of the Now TV Chinese Entertainment Pack (without a Set-Top Box).  The monthly subscription fee will be billed by CSL.  If the customer terminates the Now TV Chinese Entertainment Pack (without a Set-Top Box) before the expiry of the designated commitment period (6 months or 12 months, as the case may be), customer must pay CSL an early termination fee, which is the total monthly fees for the remaining month(s) of the designated commitment period.  Now TV Chinese Entertainment Pack (without a Set-Top Box) is provided by Now TV Limited, please visit https://www.nowtv.now.com for details.
