Caring for the Elderly Service Plan

Terms and conditions:
1. You can apply for 5G/4.5G Smart Pama Monthly service plan if you are aged 65 or above by showing a valid identity card (Hong Kong or Macau) or passport.
2. You can apply for Caring for the Elderly Service Plan if you are aged 65 or above by showing a valid identity card (Hong Kong or Macau) or passport. You have to provide valid identity document of the CSSA application, and a proof of address issued within the last three months; or provide the first page of bank passbook that use to receive Old Age Living Allowance, relevant bank entry records and a proof of address issued within the last three months are also needed.
3. 5G service is only applicable at designated locations with a compatible device. 3G/4.5G service is provided, if outside 5G service coverage.
4. For selected 5G service plan basic local data entitlement, your basic and top up entitlement support tethering and peer-to-peer (P2P) functions (such as Bit-Torrent). For customers with multiple or additional sim cards, only one sim card can support tethering and peer-to-peer (P2P) functions at a time. Any breach of these restrictions may lead to suspension of your service or additional charges by us.
5. 5G Smart Pama Monthly Service Plan: includes 10GB monthly local data; 4.5G Smart Pama Monthly Service Plan: includes 5GB monthly local data; Caring for the Elderly Service Plan: includes 5GB monthly local data at the highest network specification for downlink of 21Mbps (with 7.5Mbps for uplink), maximum up and download speeds for data access thereafter will be 1Mbps. Actual speeds experienced will be considerably less than the network specifications and will be affected by Internet conditions, server speeds, network conditions, coverage, location, device used, hardware, software, usage levels and other factors.
6. Intra-network SMS is text SMS sent within Hong Kong to 1O1O, csl and SUN Mobile customers and is subject to a monthly quota of 500 SMS units ("Quota"). Inter-network SMS is text SMS sent within Hong Kong to users of other Hong Kong networks. International SMS is text SMS sent within Hong Kong to users of overseas networks. Within the monthly Quota, you can enjoy sending any Inter-network SMS at $0.6 per SMS and International SMS at $2 per SMS. The Inter-network SMS and International SMS will be counted towards the Quota. If the usage exceeds the Quota, the Thereafter Charge is $0.3 per Intra-network SMS; $0.6 per Inter-network SMS; and $2 per International SMS. Each SMS holds 160 English or 70 non-English characters, including spaces and punctuation marks. If the SMS contains both English and non-English characters, the limit of 70 characters shall apply. If your message exceeds this limitation, it will be transmitted in form of multiple SMS and each SMS will be charged. Not all devices support SMS and/or other services included in the Service Plan. You should check whether your device is able to receive SMS and support any services included in the Service Plan.
7. Permanent exemption of $18 Administration fee.
8. Subscription to this Service Plan for 24 months or above Commitment Period is required. At the end of the contract, if the customer wants to continue using the service, the customer will be charged according to the current plan.
9. Default Do-Not-Disturb numbers may be updated or changed from time to time without prior notice and are provided by third parties, and we are not responsible or liable for the quality, nature, accuracy and usefulness of these numbers. Out of area calls, long distance calls, calls originating from public paid phone and Private Automatic Branch Exchange (PABX) cannot be blocked by the Service. Terms & conditions apply. 11. Ultimate data transfer & Device Diagnosis Service is applicable only to csl service plan customers and is currently to major mobile OS platforms and certain handset models. Please contact our shop staff for details.
12. If the customer needs to send a copy of the bill or reissue the bill, the customer shall pay the relevant fee.
13. This service plan does not provide IDD and roaming services.
14. Any unused usage cannot be carried forward to the next bill month and will be forfeited at the end of each bill month. The local Mobile Data service will stop when you use up the monthly local Mobile Data usage included in your Service Plan and will resume at the beginning of the next bill month.
15. Unless otherwise specified, Service Plan included usage applies to local use only. Unless otherwise specified, Service Plan included usage will be calculated on a per minute basis. Any usage of less than one minute will be counted as one minute. When you use the Call Waiting service and are connected to more than one telephone line, airtime will be calculated according to the total time spent on all connected lines during call waiting.
16. The General Terms and Conditions of CSL Mobile Limited (“CSL”) apply (https://www.hkcsl.com/en/service-terms-and-conditions/) to the relationship between CSL and you in respect of the Designated Plan and the goods and services of CSL.
17. CSL reserves the right to vary or cancel the Service and/or amend these Terms and Conditions at any time without notice.
18. In the event of discrepancy or inconsistency between the English and Chinese versions of these Terms and Conditions, the English version shall prevail.  In the event of dispute in relation to the Service, CSL’s decisions shall be final.

Smart Pama Mainland China & Macau Data Roaming Package

Terms and conditions:
1. Mainland China & Macau Data Roaming Package (the Service) is available to selected personal account customers of csl who have activated IDD, roaming service, Data Roaming Pass service and subscribe to the csl Smart Pama Service for a commitment period of 24 or 36 months ("Commitment Period"). And the service is subject to the Special Terms and Conditions for the Data Roaming Pass. Please visit http://e.hkcsl.com/datapass-e for details:
  • Monthly fee $25 package includes: 1GB per month Mainland China & Macau Data Roaming and 15 minutes per month Roaming Voice Minutes which applicable to mainland China and Macau only with 24/36 months commitment.
  • Customers who subscribe to Smart Pama 5G Monthly Service Plan can enjoy the Service for free within the contract period. 
2. If customer has not registered for IDD and roaming services or has already applied for “barring of data roaming service”, upon subscription to Mainland China & Macau Data Roaming Package, it represents the customer agrees to activate IDD and roaming service and agree to “un-bar data roaming service”.
3. The Service included usage applies to use in Mainland China & Macau only.
4. Any unused usage cannot be carried forward to the next bill month and will be forfeited at the end of each bill month.
5. Roaming Voice Minute is applicable for receiving and making calls in Mainland China & Macau and calling back to Hong Kong.
6. The Service applies to Mobile Data roaming usage such as Internet Browsing, Roaming MMS, WAP and audio or video streaming but not support VoIP, BitTorrent, Peer to Peer file sharing (such as FTP file sharing and webcam applications), Peer Casting type applications (such as PPLive and PPStream), VPN Tunnel service, corporate e-mail service or any commercial promotion activities or any means which may be harmful or adversely affect our network or other customers. Please note the actual speed and usage experience depends on applicable roaming networks. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your use of the Service if you breach the Terms and Conditions of the Service.
7. Upon expiry of the Commitment Period, all remaining entitlement will be forfeited and prevailing roaming rates will apply. For details, please visit http://e.hkcsl.com/datapass-e.
8. After the customer has used up all roaming data of the service before expiry of the Commitment Period, the subsequent charges will be charged according to the then-current rate of Data Roaming Pass. For details, please visit http://e.hkcsl.com/datapass-e.
9. If customer with Mainland China & Macau Data Roaming Package, Volume Data Roaming Pass Package, Purchased Data Roaming Pass Package and other Data Roaming Pass entitlement, the data roaming usage will be deducted from Mainland China & Macau Data Roaming Package, then it will be deducted from the Volume Data Roaming Pass Package with earlier validity end date first, then it will be deducted from the data roaming pass with earlier validity end date.
10. If customer is using Greater China Plan or China-HK-Macau Service Plan, the Service will not be applicable to destinations covered by Greater China Plan or China-HK-Macau Service Plan.
11. Unless otherwise specified, the activation mode of roaming data of the Service Data Roaming Pass activation mode is default as automatic activation.
12. Unless otherwise specified, the Service cannot be used in conjunction with any other discount, offer or promotion and is non- transferable nor exchangeable for cash or other products/services.
13. Customers who terminate their mobile service accounts before expiry of Commitment Period shall be deemed to have forfeited any such entitlement, and CSL Mobile Limited ("CSL") shall not be responsible for any such forfeiture.
14. If customers terminate the Service before the expiry of the Commitment Period, CSL would charge the customers the early termination charges which are the sum of the monthly fee of the Service for the remaining period.
